Our Client
Our client, a global private markets business is currently looking for a Chief Compliance Officer to join its London office.
The firm operates across a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure, private equity, venture capital and private credit.
The CCO will be working closely with the firm’s senior management team and be part of the Global Operations team.
Key Duties
The Chief Compliance Officer will be leading the compliance function and take on regulated roles with the different regulators. Other responsibilities include:
Provide strategic guidance to the Executive Management Board and represent
Oversee the compliance framework and ensure its continuous meeting of requirements
Responsibility over the Compliance Committee
Compliance in key governance and risk topics
Develop and deliver relevant training to members of staff in order to maintain a culture of compliance
Engage with the firm’s investors on processes related to due diligence
Responsibility over marketing and distribution processes
Spearhead all compliance and regulatory projects, as required
Analyse latest regulatory and compliance matters and evaluate their impact on the firm
Manage service providers
Lead the compliance team and ensure the effective completion of daily requirements (CMP, policies, etc.)
Your Profile
10+ years’ relevant experience gained in the financial services sector within the Compliance department, ideally for an asset manager
Great exposure and experience with multiple jurisdictions
Strong technical abilities
Ability to confidently deliver training programmes
In-depth knowledge of financial products
