He joined Rutherford in early 2026, bringing experience as an admitted attorney. His legal background provides the team with enhanced technical insight into private practice structures, partnership dynamics, and the evolving demands placed on modern law firms. This first-hand experience strengthens Rutherford’s delivery capability and ensures a nuanced understanding of both client expectations and candidate motivations.

Triston works closely with consultants on candidate mapping, market analysis and search execution, contributing detailed sector knowledge and disciplined research methodology to every mandate. He is particularly attuned to the importance of cultural alignment, long-term career trajectory and commercial fit within private practice environments.
