​Our Client

Our client, a cyber security MSSP, is currently looking for a Technical Sales Director based in the UK on a contract basis.

Please note that frequent travel across EMEA will be required for this position. This is a fully remote position and is open to anyone located in the United Kingdom.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Meeting customers and perform demos as well as technical pre-sales activities

  • Adopting a consultative approach with prospect customers to gain an understanding of their business and technical needs

  • Working alongside the firm's Engineering and Product Management teams to convey client requirements as well as product enhancements and usability improvements

  • Providing training to clients' software architects, developers and security engineers on the firm's technology and overall security best practices

  • Attending regional marketing events as needed

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working within a start-up environment as well as a strong track record in building and delivering high performing sales results. Enterprise Security Software experience is preferred, as well as hands on experience with Linux, Hadoop/BigData and SQL. Relevant experience in SIEM, DLP, IAM and MSS will also be highly viewed.
