​Rutherford have been mandated on an excellent opportunity to join our global UK headquartered hedge fund client’s Operational Risk and Resilience team

​

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with key stakeholders in reviewing and challenging third party risk

  • Produce succinct Management Information covering relevant risk issues for the Group’s principal risk committees.

  • Present and challenge third-party risk information at relevant risk committees.

  • Perform on-going due diligence on external vendors/third-parties.

  • Supporting the protection and improvement of the Group’s Risk and Compliance system.

  • Complete thematic reviews to improve the Group’s control framework in relation to third-parties.

  • Assisting the wider Operational Risk and Resilience team in ad-hoc duties.

Your Profile

  • 2-5 years third-party risk/operational risk experience gained within the asset management industry

  • Strong understanding of operational risk methods, principles and underlying controls

  • Ability to produce and present high quality focused material to senior stakeholders.

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal senior stakeholders
