Our client, a SaaS business which specialises in RegTech, is currently looking for a Lead Regulatory Expert to join its London offices. A market leader servicing some of the most known hedge funds and sovereign wealth firms, this global firm is growing at an impressive pace. They have also received the prestigious B Corp certification, meaning they believe doing good is also good for business.
Key Duties
As Lead Regulatory Expert, you will be reviewing and analysing financial regulations to then transform them into algorithms for the business. This role presents an exciting opportunity to combine finance, law and technology.
Main duties will include, but are not limited to:
Create the strategy around major regulatory changes by analysing implications and their repercussions
Collaborate with staff member in expressing complex regulation into domain-specific rule language
Provide training to staff members on regulatory analysis and coding
Be aware of all regulatory changes and their impact on the industry
Drive and implement change within the business
Take part in RFPs and industry events
Your Profile
Experience in a compliance, regulatory or advisory role
Experience in the financial compliance sector
Sound knowledge of financial instruments
Experience in scripting, coding and rule testing a bonus, though not essential
Experience in SaaS, RegTech/FinTech also desirable, though not essential
