Our Client
Our client, a European banking-as-a-service fintech based in Germany, is looking for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer based in Berlin, Germany. The firm is currently seeking a senior professional for its Engineering team to be part of a critical part of the business, the security and compliance of the storage of digital assets.
The successful candidate will be joining a warm and inclusive company with more than 400 dynamic professionals. Whilst our client's offices are based in Berlin, they are rapidly growing across the whole of Europe. The successful appointee will be working at the Berlin office, but there is the option for remote working at a later date.
Main Duties
The role's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Manage and lead a team of Infrastructure Engineers
Act as a mentor for your peers
Spearhead the design, development and operation of a modern infrastructure
Lead the design and implementation of automated processes for CI/CD
Continuously gain knowledge on Blockchain technology, modern cryptography and security
Your Profile
A minimum of 10 years of experience as Infrastructure Engineer (or similar position)
At least 3 years as a Team Lead
Strong experience in AWS, Kubernetes and overall cloud platform provider experience
Linux user with strong scripting skills
An experienced engineer with solid coding skills and a passion for perfection and quality
Also desirable, though not essential skills to have for this position:
Ruby, Go or Python
DevSecOps, SecOps and OPSEC
Cryptography
Blockchains
Microservices, Distributed systems
Message hubs
Networks
Bare-metal
Terraform/Terragrunt
