About Genevieve Higgins-Desbiens

Genevieve Higgins-Desbiens is a Chief Operating Officer at Rutherford, a London-based recruitment firm that specialises in legal, compliance and financial crime searches within law firms and financial services businesses. After obtaining her Bachelor of Business in Canada, she worked for several high-profile brands as well as start-ups, strengthening and building their brand all whilst optimising their marketing strategies, both offline and online. After moving to the UK, she quickly specialised in the professional services sector, driving the marketing agenda for firms within the recruitment industry.

She joined Rutherford in 2020 to build the firm's marketing function from the ground up, and since then she took on a wider remit, now overseeing all operations for the business and spearheading all growth-focussed efforts. ​
