Chloe Gaskin is a Consultant at Rutherford, a London-based recruitment firm that specialises in legal, compliance and financial crime searches within law firms and financial services businesses. With an impressive background in Common Law and experience working in the legal department of a fast-growing fintech, Chloe joined Rutherford with a wealth of experience, hitting the ground running with her approach to recruitment.

Since joining the firm's Private Practice department, she has worked on several high-level and complex mandates, and focuses on sourcing the best legal talent, from Senior Associate-level through to Partner.

What motivates you at work and in life?

I am motivated by curiosity, determination and learning from people from all walks of life- all of which have helped me grow and develop in life and work thus far. When something has my attention it’s somewhat ‘all-consuming’ for me. Having a strong role model is always a plus.

What is the most unexpected thing you ever did?

Spontaneously adding an unplanned trip to Vietnam to the end of my travels.
