​About Liam Lynch

Liam Lynch is a Recruitment Researcher at Rutherford, a London-based recruitment firm that specialises in compliance, in-house legal and private practice legal recruitment searches for both financial ​services businesses and top-tier law firms.

Liam joins Rutherford after completing his studies at the AIE, Academic Institute of Excellence in Johannesburg in South Africa. At Rutherford, he now focuses on compliance and in-house legal mandates for financial services firms, predominantly within the buy-side.

I remain flexible and adaptable in the face of change, embracing new ideas and adjusting to evolving circumstances to maintain effectiveness.

What motivates you at work and in life?

Opportunities to innovate and think creatively make me tick. Finding novel solutions to problems or improving processes energises my creativity and drive.

What is the most unexpected thing you ever did?

One of the most unexpected things I ever did was when I spontaneously jumped on a plane at 18 years old to travel the South of France with no plan on how I was going to make money. It was a bold decision, filled with excitement and a bit of uncertainty.
