Our client is a VC-backed accelerator who has a strong track record of taking web 3.0 start-ups through their Pre-Seed and Seed stages to the launch of their market ready, and viable, product. Covering the breadth of verticals that combine in the Metaverse (from distributed ledger technology based ecosystems through NFTs, AR, VR, eSports, Machine Learning and AI), this accelerator is designed for Pre-Seed and Seed round start-ups who are developing their ideas with an ultimate aim of launching some form of tokenised product within the Metaverse.
The client is now looking for an entrepreneurially minded investor relation specialist to lead a team focused purely on supporting the fundraising requirements of each cohort of between 5 - 10 early stage start-ups as they go through their early development phases surrounding pre-seed and seed funding.
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Actively build relationships with current and prospective stakeholders on fundraising syndication, all whilst coordinating due diligence and follow ups
The drafting and coordination of all stakeholder communications, reporting and events to ensure that they are always kept up to date all whilst actively engaging with the VC community
Providing support to portfolio companies across the accelerator program on tokenomics structuring and fundraising
Lead the syndication and structuring team
Giving feedback on fundraising documents based on best market practices
At least 5 years of experience in a structuring/syndication position
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a structured environment such as PE or VC
Strong academics - ideally in STEM but this is not essential
A great VC network and skillset
A sound understanding of the Web 3.0 space
