Our Client
My client is a fintech in the city who are looking for a Head of Compliance to lead the compliance function.
Main Duties
Your main responsibilities will include:
Overall responsibility for the firm’s compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
Designing and implementing the Compliance Monitoring Plan
Reporting to the Board on any issues
Liaison with the FCA and regulatory reporting
Providing advice to wider teams on compliance regulations, financial promotions, SMCR, complaints handling etc
Devising training and managing 1 direct report
Your Profile
Extensive regulatory compliance experience, ideally within e-money/payments/retail banking
Preferably held the registered function previously, but not essential
Strong internal and stakeholder management
Gravitas and ability to lead the function
Diligent, credible and autonomous in decision making
Desirable to have experience of E-Money and MiFID investment licences
Salary £80,000 - £100,000, depending on experience + bonus + excellent work life balance
