Our Client
Our client, a leading institutional asset manager, is currently seeking an individual for a 12-month fixed term contract (FTC) in Fund Management Advisory. The successful candidate will be joining the Legal and Compliance team located in London, UK. The role presents a fantastic opportunity to join an already existing team of compliance and legal professionals which provides advice to the various business divisions of the firm.
The successful candidate will be asked to support and work closely with the designated person for regulatory compliance in Ireland, UK.
Main Duties
Provide advice on the design of compliance controls, policies and procedures
Support and tangibly contribute to the creation of reporting tools for senior management and board members
Advise on regulations and how they apply to the firm's policies and new business initiatives
Represent the compliance function on business initiatives and projects
Own the design and delivery of compliance training to members of staff
Enhance the compliance environment through the use of relevant technology
Your Profile
A minimum of 7 years' relevant experience within asset management
Demonstrable expertise in regulation in relation to the funds industry
Broad advisory experience across multiple jurisdictions would be an advantage, though not essential
Track record in advising and influencing key stakeholders
Experience in managing and handling regulatory relationships would be beneficial, though not essential
