Our client is a fintech specialising in crypto-assets who are currently undergoing a huge surge of growth. They are looking to double in size in the next year and as part of this journey they are seeking a Financial Crime Analyst to join a busy team of 3 members of staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving start up who have a flexible, yet results-driven culture.
Main Duties
Key duties will include, but are not limited to:
Analysing transactions and circumstances where fraud and other suspicious activities could be found and reporting on this
Transaction monitoring
Applying and influencing the risk appetite and making amendments where necessary
Regulatory liaison and senior stakeholder management
Your Profile
bright, articulate and dynamic individual, educated to degree level
Financial crime experience, ideally within a fintech/crypto firm
Strong understanding of blockchain and data analytics
Interest in technology, crypto and finance
Desirable to have used tools including Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM Labs but by no means necessary
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + bonus + share scheme. Flexibility to work from home a couple of days a week, when not in the office based in the City of London.
