​Rutherford is partnered with a rapidly growing fintech company in search of a Data Protection Advisor to join their London team. This position offers significant opportunities for career advancement and professional growth within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on data privacy risks and compliance obligations under FCA and GDPR.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices (GDPR, UK Data Protection Act).

  • Oversee Data Subject Access Requests, retention and deletion policies.

  • Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive data protection framework aligned with regulatory requirements.

Your Background

  • 2-4 years of experience in data protection and regulatory compliance.

  • In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws (including GDPR, UK Data Protection Act).

  • Experience with OneTrust software is desirable.

  • A legal background is preferred.
