Our Client
Our client, a successful international Crypto Currency broker, is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their rapidly expanding business. The company is part of a larger international financial services group with over 150 employees, with the position reporting directly into the Group of co-CEOs/Founders and the Group CFO.
The ideal candidate should be a CPA or ACA with a strong background in finance and management and be willing to get involved in the details if necessary. Significant experience in FX and/or crypto currency trading and custody is essential.
Main Duties
Initially managing the existing accounting team with a view to creating your own team of accountants and controller
Preparing monthly Pnls and Balance sheets all reconciled to third party statements and back-office system
Designing and implementing a full set of controls and daily processes working with operations and risk management team
Assessing which accounting package to use going forward
Overseeing cash flows, cash management, working capital and budgeting
Managing relationships with banks and local auditors and advisors
Initially helping produce reliable financial statements as at Dec 2020
Your Profile
ACA or equivalent
5 -8 years' experience as CFO/Financial director type roles
3-5 years’ experience in FX and Crypto currency trading businesses
Strong finance-based analytical skills - ability to see the big picture and drill down into the detail where required
Excellent decision making – proven ability to make decisions and take action
Salary: circa £150,000 + benefits but there will be flexibility on this for the right candidate.
Offices are based in Mayfair, but there will be a considerable amount of flexibility to work from home.
