Our Client
Our client, a modern and dynamic compliance consultancy firm which focuses in providing compliance solutions to the financial services sector, is currently looking for an Associate Director for its London office.
With a varied client base, the firm's core focus is on asset managers, wealth managers and brokerage and/or trading firms. They have a preference for business-driven individuals who are willing to get involved, with a roll up your sleeves attitude.
Main Duties
The appointee will be part of a team with a responsibility to build a pipeline of business for the firm. They will also generate leads on an ongoing basis and manage staff members.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Conduct regulatory reviews
Deliver training sessions to compliance team members as well as senior management
Provide assistance with authorisations
Draft policies and procedures
Respond to ad hoc and routine regulatory queries
Your Profile
Educated to a degree level, ideally in a relevant field
Significant compliance-related experience gained at a financial institution, consultancy and/or regulator
Strong technical knowledge of asset/wealth management or brokerage. A strong understanding of JMLSG and AML requirements will also be required for this position
Sound understanding of the FCA's rules and regulations
Experience in interpreting and implementing regulatory rules in a pragmatic way
Experience managing client relationships
Salary: circa £80,000 - £100,000 + benefits
