Rutherford is delighted to welcome Georgina Housden to its Compliance Recruitment practice, as the firm is embarking on a phase of growth. She will be spearheading the firm's new desk which will focus on compliance recruitment within the insurance, retail banking, wealth management, fintech and crypto sectors.

Georgina is joining Rutherford as Principal Recruitment Consultant and will be focusing on expanding the firm's already established compliance recruitment practice by placing executive and senior compliance professionals in an array of roles within financial services and consultancies.

About Georgina Housden

After completing a Bachelors of Law (LLB) from the Oxford Brookes University, Georgina started her career as a Legal Consultant for a global specialist recruitment business, sourcing high-calibre legal professionals for sought-after in-house and private practice legal roles around the world.

Thereafter, she joined a London-based governance recruitment company as Senior Compliance Consultant. In her role, she made various compliance placements spanning from Analyst to Head of Compliance level across retail banking, consumer credit, mortgages, insurance and consultancy.

More recently, she has taken a keen interest in the insurance sector and has worked with global insurance firms, insurance brokers, the Lloyds market and smaller specialist firms.

I am thrilled to be joining Rutherford at such a key point in the growth phase, as I want to contribute to the firm's success with the aim of expanding our team and coverage, starting with insurance. I am looking forward to utilising my specialist knowledge and experience to essentially grow a business within a business. I am excited to see our progress over the coming years.
