Our client, a leading law firm, are growing their new regulatory consulting arm and have a key vacancy for a Senior Regulatory Analyst to join the business. This role directly supports the Director and partner in providing exceptional regulatory advice to clients in financial services, including insurers, consumer lending firms, payment firms, banks, fund managers, asset managers and wealth managers. Expertise spans across regulatory change, conduct, assurance, governance and board effectiveness reviews, s166 reviews and redress and remediation.
This is a really exciting time to join the practice as they are at early stages of their development which will entail a huge amount of influence, autonomy and exposure to a wide range of clients.
Your main roles and responsibilities will include:
Supporting on a wide range of regulatory projects
Providing high quality regulatory advice
Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and the impact on clients
Market research and attending client events
Developing a strong internal and external network
Achievement of individual and team targets
Developing training materials
2+ years of compliance experience in financial services, legal practice or consultancy
Willingness to learn governance and conduct issues in relation to insurance, funds, banking, wealth management, asset management, payments, etc.
Good understanding of the FCA handbook and the legislative and regulatory environment
Ability to work on a variety of projects
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical and technical
Salary: circa £45,000 + an excellent benefits package. There is also considerable flexibility with only 2 days required in the London-based office.
