Our Client
Our client, a renowned multi-strategy asset manager, is currently looking for an Investment Control Analyst to join its London office.
The purpose of the role will be to oversee the firm's investment activities whilst using a risk-based approach. The successful candidate will ensure that the firm is being undertaken in compliance with relevant regulations, IMAs and internal policies and procedures.
Main Duties
This position mostly focuses on portfolio adherence and front office advisory. Key responsibilities for the role will include, but are not limited to:
When required, managing CRIMS’ daily portfolio, pre and post trade alerts
Onboarding new funds with a particular focus on negotiating clear investment guidelines
Managing the firm’s Charles Rivers library, guideline coding and periodic reviews
Providing assistance when needed in the development and maintenance of control procedures
Providing practical guidance of global regulatory investment restrictions
Providing advice on the resolution of investment guideline breaches as well as trading issues
Advising the firm’s investment teams on how to strengthen controls
Supporting the Investment Control Manager in designing and implementing the firm’s investment control strategy and framework
Preparing periodic management reports
Your Profile
Knowledge of fixed income and derivatives
Financial regulatory knowledge such as Luxembourg UCITS would be beneficial
Familiarity with investment guidelines
The ability to interpret fund restrictions for monitoring purposes
Previous experience in coding investment guidelines for fixed income portfolios
