Our Client
Our client, an international global macro hedge fund, is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer to spearhead the build-out of their new office in China or Hong Kong.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Build and continually develop the Compliance Framework.
Review policies and procedures of the company, and timely promote the revision and effectively implement internal policies.
Advise the business and leadership team on compliance policies and regulatory requirements.
Marketing material review, investment scheme advice, suitability regular audit, as well as leading regulatory inspections.
Identify the inherent compliance risk and help to implement proper measure to re mediate risks.
Assist the COO in other ad-hoc projects related to compliance process & regulatory relationships.
Your Profile
Minimum 7 years of compliance or legal working experience in financial industry, ideally in funds management or asset management.
Strong commercial awareness, communication and coordination sills and independent & logical thinking capability.
Experienced in handling compliance issues in a confident and professional manner.
Regulatory coverage experience for both China and Hong Kong.
Role can be based in mainland China or Hong Kong.
