Our Client
Our client is a fintech focusing on payments who are looking for a Head of Compliance to lead the compliance function. They are growing at a rapid rate with a big valuation, so this is a really exciting time to join! This role can be based in London or New York.
Key Duties
Overall responsibility for the firm's compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
Designing and implementing the Compliance Monitoring Plan
Reporting to the Board on any issues
Liaising with the FCA and regulatory reporting
Providing advice to wider teams on compliance regulations, financial promotions, SMCR, complaints handling, etc.
Devising training and managing 5 direct reports
Your Profile
Extensive regulatory compliance experience, ideally within payments/crypto
A keen interest in the movement of the crypto space
Preferably held the registered function SMF16 previously
Strong internal and stakeholder management
Gravitas and ability to lead the function
Diligent, credible and autonomous in decision making
Salary: £120,000 - £150,000, depending on experience + benefits
