Our Client
We are seeking an experienced Director of Cyber Security Operations to join a growing security function within a highly reputed technology firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the security operations function and ensuring that their security posture is always at the highest level
The opportunity will sit within the senior leadership team, reporting directly into the CISO and would be best suited to an individual with a proven track record successfully developing & applying original ideas to complex security challenges.
Main Duties
Lead the security operations function, including incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
Be responsible for leading and shaping the cyber security strategy liaising closely with other senior/director level counterparts
Ensure that the security operations function is always at the highest level, and that potential security threat are proactively identified and mitigated.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, vendors, and partners.
Develop and implement security operations strategies and processes to improve their overall security posture.
Continuously monitor and assess the security landscape, and develop strategies and solutions to mitigate potential security threats
Ensure the technical requirements and standards are met throughout the organisation in order to identify potential security threats and implement the necessary countermeasures to address those risks
Your Profile
Proven experience in security operations, with a track record of success in developing and leading high-performing teams.
Strong technical knowledge in security operations, including incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
Salary: Up to £140,000
