​Our Client

Our client, an established insurance firm, is seeking a Conduct Risk Manager to join their team, based out of their London or Kent office, with hybrid working also on offer.

The successful candidate will essentially lead a team of 4 compliance business partners in providing the business with strategic support, enabling growth whilst ensuring the business is regulatory compliant.​

 

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading and developing the conduct risk team

  • Helping the business identify and manage conduct risk

  • Keeping abreast of regulatory developments and being the point of contact for FCA handbook related queries

  • Operating elements of the SMCR framework, FCA submission, breach reporting etc

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships across the business

  • Acting as a centre of excellence to provide advice and training

  • Deputising for Head of Conduct Risk where needed​

 

Your Profile

  • Strong knowledge of the FCA requirements and key conduct risks within the insurance industry

  • Preferably educated to degree level, CII, PIIA or other related qualifications desirable

  • Line management experience essential

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: circa £60,000 - £70,000 + bonus
