Our client is a fintech specialising in crypto-assets who are currently undergoing a huge surge of growth. They are looking to double in size in the next year and as part of this journey they are seeking a Compliance Onboarding Team Lead to join a busy team of 4. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving start-up who have a flexible, yet results-driven culture.

You must be a bright, articulate and dynamic individual with extensive experience within financial crime. Crypto experience is essential, management experience desirable.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide fundamental support to the Head of Compliance/MLRO with regard to the AML/CFT regime

  • Oversee the end-to-end client onboarding process, periodic review schedule, maintain onboarding policies and procedures

  • Ensure that business controls around financial crime and sanctions are regulatory compliant

  • Supporting MLRO reports, SARS, sanctions reporting, etc.

  • 1 direct report and training of juniors

Salary: circa £65,000 - £75,000 (flexible)
