Our Client
Our client, a private equity firm focusing on infrastructure investments, is looking for a Compliance Officer to join its London office. The role presents a great opportunity to join a small team and gain exposure to a range of compliance responsibilities. The candidate must demonstrate a willingness to learn but be able to display autonomy as and when might be required. The role will assist in maintaining the firm's positive Compliance culture within the organisation.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Monitor the firm's regulatory responsibilities through the maintenance of the firm's Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP) to efficiently manage the firm's daily regulatory obligations
Manage correspondence with the regulator
Conduct KYC/AML refreshers on key clients
Working closely with external consultants to maintain effective processes
Promote and manage an effective compliance culture in the firm
Manage relationship with AIFM, coordinating oversight
Conduct regulatory filings when appropriate
Responsibility for AML/KYC processes including onboarding new clients
Your Profile
2-5 years' minimum relevant industry experience
Educated to degree level
Strong background and knowledge of industry standards
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Demonstrated ability to act independently
