Our Client
Our client, a renowned global asset management firm, is currently looking to hire a Compliance Officer on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) for their London office. The successful candidate will be joining the firm's Compliance team, which currently has four members.
Main Duties
This is a generalist compliance position with a strong advisory component, where the Compliance Officer will be asked to oversee a vast array of core compliance duties. Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Play an active role in compliance-related projects
Provide compliance training to members of staff in order to strengthen the compliance culture
Conduct and maintain the Compliance Monitoring Programme
Be aware of and analyse any new regulation, evaluate its impact on the firm and provide advice on how to initiate changes
Build and deliver reports to senior management and the board
Your Profile
About 5-7 years of generalist compliance experience in alternative investment management or consulting
Buy-side MiFID knowledge with detailed understanding of related regulatory requirements
Track record and understanding in AML/KYC requirements
Knowledge of insider dealing related issues
Understanding of Code of Ethics Compliance and experience in implementing or oversight in this area
Generalist compliance experience, from Regulations to Money Laundering Regulation
Experience in analysis and implementation of regulatory changes
