​Our Client

Our client, a leading global hedge fund, is currently seeking a Compliance Officer for its London offices. The business focuses on numerous macro asset classes such as commodities, FX and equities.

The successful candidate will be part of the firm’s Compliance team, which manages the firm’s compliance and legal risks and keeps abreast of all regulatory change.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide regulatory advice to the front office and wider stakeholders

  • Lead regulatory project implementation

  • Take part in the business’ compliance monitoring programme and advise on improvements

  • Oversee compliance policies and procedures updates

  • Advise the business on the automation and improvement of compliance processes

Your Profile

  • At least 5 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial services sector, preferably for an asset manager or a hedge fundStrong knowledge and expertise of FCA regulations. Knowledge of SEC

  • regulations also beneficial.

  • Also ideal - previous exposure to fixed income and equities
