Our client is a highly entrepreneurial firm in the Consumer Lending space based in London. They are now looking to hire a Compliance Manager/Head of Compliance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that the compliance programs throughout the organisation are effect and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Duties
Develop and implement company policies and regulations and be an expert in the UK-licensed operations
Oversee all business operations relating to compliance including policies and procedures
Perform periodic audits on company procedures and processes
Design and monitor control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies
Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify risks
Provide FCA regulatory advice, guidance and challenge to the business, specifically regarding consumer loan products; and provide channel and risk weighted advice to the business on its systems and controls
Provide the strategic direction for compliance matters to the management team
Independently investigating and acting on compliance matters
Your Profile
Have experience working in a fintech or payments company is a plus (but not required)
Understand FCA CONC regulation
Demonstrable knowledge and experience within Consumer Lending
Have experience of dealing with merchant partners
