​Our Client

Our client, a top multi-strategy global hedge fund with over £30bn AUM are looking for a Compliance Associate to join their London team. The position is generalist and reports directly into their Head of Compliance, joining a small team which is part of the global function.

Main Duties

​Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Compliance monitoring in relation to the company’s Code of Ethics, PA Dealing, OBI and Gifts and Entertainment policies.

  • Surveillance of electronic communications, including phone calls and emails.

  • AML and KYC checks relation to transaction counterparties, individuals and trading relationships.

  • Closely monitor the Compliance Calendar, supporting FCA filings and submissions.

  • Monitor and implement regulatory change and update internal policies and procedures accordingly.


Your Profile

  • 1-3 years in relevant buy-side experience, either from a hedge fund, asset manager or consultancy.

  • Exposure to alternative investments is preferred.

  • Familiarity with UK regulations.

  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
