Our Client
Our client is an American hedge fund with global offices who invest in macro, systematic and long/short strategies. They are currently looking for a Compliance Analyst to join their European team, based in Paris (France).
The successful candidate will be joining the firm's Compliance department, which supports global investment and trading activities by enforcing the company's compliance policies. The function provides real-time advice and conduts pre and post trade surveillance. The Compliance Analyst will report into the Head of Compliance Europe, and will be asked to support the growing European business and the expansion of the firm's presence in Paris.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Reviewing and approving requests in accordance with the firm's code of ethics policies
Providing real time support on trading queries, restrictions and approvals
Assisting in the maintenance of the compliance infrastructure
Delivering compliance training as requested
Assisting with daily position monitoring and reporting
Providing assistance with the compliance monitoring program
Doing research on regulatory issues and assisting with impact analysis
Providing assistance on ad hoc projects as required
Your Profile
4+ years of experience in a financial institution
Educated to a degree level
Sound knowledge of European financial regulation and financial markets
French speaking is preferred
