Rutherford is currently looking to hire experienced Associate Recruitment Consultant to support the continued growth of its numerous desks in response to increasing client demand.

Our award-winning business works with some of the most interesting and renowned names within the financial services space, across the UK, EMEA and US markets. From start-ups to boutique hedge funds to multi-national PLCs, our clients often bring together a winning blend of technology, talent and innovation.

The Opportunity

Rutherford has been known for over a decade as a leading regulatory recruitment firm servicing the financial services industry. Our expert, fun and cosmopolitan team has placed some of the most sought-after talent into top tier firms, from global hedge funds to innovative and disruptive fintechs and crypto businesses.

We have spent years building our reputation in the market, solidifying our position as the leader in our space. This hard work has led us to an impressive growth trajectory, with the firm increasing its revenue fivefold and growing its headcount by 84% in the past 1.5 years only.

We are now entering a crucial part in our entrepreneurial journey, and are looking for ambitious individuals who want to tangibly contribute to scaling up the business. This is an opportunity for those who are ready to take on a new challenge - and reap the benefits along the way.

The Role

As as Associate Consultant, you will:

  • Identify, approach and assess candidates for appointments the team is working on

  • Identify appropriate target firms for business development and candidates for active mandates

  • Generate suitable candidates and market intelligence with the help of numerous research tools

  • Actively expand, update and improve the existing candidate pool

  • Attend client briefings and contribute to the search strategy - where appropriate and subject to professional development

The Other Good Stuff

  • A competitive basic salary coupled with market-leading commission structure

  • Attractive share options; our Director is gifting 40% of equity to employees as share options

  • Strong training and support from a team of reputable specialists in the space

  • Gym membership

  • Incentive trips for the entire office

  • Private medical insurance

  • A great social life - and most importantly, great colleagues!
