Position Overview
As a Senior Associate, you will play a crucial role in leading transactions and providing expert legal advice to clients in the infrastructure, energy, and resources sectors. You will work closely with partners and other team members to deliver high-quality, timely, and cost-effective solutions to complex legal challenges. Responsibilities
Lead transactions, as appropriate and depending on their complexity, reporting directly to the supervising partner
Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of legal principles associated with infrastructure, energy, resources, and projects
Stay informed of legal developments affecting specialist areas and regularly attend relevant training sessions
Provide expert advice to clients and colleagues, sharing knowledge and expertise
Demonstrate strong project management and organisational skills, ensuring timely delivery to high standards
Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their industries, markets, and commercial drivers
Requirements
Qualified lawyer with relevant post-qualification experience in infrastructure, energy, resources, and projects
Strong technical skills and a good understanding of relevant legal principles
Excellent project management, organisational, and time management skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral
Ability to work effectively in a team and lead transactions
Commercially aware with a good understanding of clients' industries and sectors
Motivated, reliable, and able to perform effectively under pressure
Commitment to professional development and staying informed of legal developments
