Our Client

Rutherford are partnered with a rapidly expanding global multi-strategy hedge fund ($55bn+ AuM) that are looking to hire into their NY compliance team. This opportunity will involve partnering closely with the wider business units including trading, operations and quant teams, offering compliance support on a broad range of matters. The current legal and compliance team is made up of some of the top industry professionals, ensuring the firm conducts it’s activity in adherence to the ever changing regulatory landscape.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing regulatory advice to the investment and trading teams

  • Assist with researching new compliance rules and implementing policy updates

  • Design and develop compliance monitoring reports

  • Trade surveillance, monitoring and testing

  • Assist in regulatory reporting and filings, such as Form ADV, Form PF, and 13 Filings

  • Support the Chief Compliance Officer with compliance program initiatives

Your Profile

  • 1 - 3 years of previous compliance experience at a hedge fund or investment bank is essential

  • Strong understand of the US regulatory landscape

  • A strong analytical ability and experience manages numerous projects concurrently

  • Ability to work independently and excel in a high intensity environment

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher is required from a top tier university

Basic salary range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000.
