We are currently supporting a leading Algorithmic trading firm with a new Compliance Analyst hire in Hong Kong. The compliance generalist will cover monitoring, reporting and regulatory support across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business lines to ensure the firm operates in line with APAC regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily compliance checks and assist with control activities across trading desks.

  • Review trading activity and communications to help detect potential market abuse or conduct risks.

  • Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, internal audits and inspections.

  • Help maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and registers.

  • Track and research regulatory developments (SFC, ASIC, JFSA) and assist in sharing guidance with business teams.

  • Assist in the preparation of management and regulator reporting.

  • Support onboarding of counterparties and contribute to cross-functional compliance projects.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in compliance, risk or regulatory support, preferably with exposure to proprietary trading or market-making environments.

  • Knowledge of APAC regulatory frameworks is preferred, awareness of FCA and SEC rules is an advantage.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
