Our client, a renowned investment management firm, is currently looking to add a Security Engineer to their team based in New York.
You will work on developing the firm's information security program, with a primary focus on incident detection and threat response. You will own the resolution of security incidents and lead detection and response improvement efforts.
Successful candidates must be able to show they can build new security tools to elevate the firm's capability to detect and respond to threats. Prior experience in developing processes and runbooks used in incident response and remediation are a must.
You will lead on all forensive investigations whilst also improving threat-hunting and monitoring efforts. If you have lead reviews, assessments, and triage operations on threats in previous roles, the firm will be keen to speak with you. You will also oversee the current toolchain configuration and make improvements where necessary.
