​Our Client

Rutherford is currently looking for a Penetration Tester for a Financial Services firm. The business has huge growth plans and currently works with some of the biggest names on the planet.

The Security testing team is part of the wider Global Cyber Security team operating across various companies globally. They unite to find any potential threat, risk assess and recommend quality mitigations to vulnerabilities identified in Penetration Testing engagements.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Be involved in the penetration testing services, ranging from the initial introduction to the final debrief

  • You will be supporting the business to meet its Strategic, Operational and Compliance objectives through company security policy & standards

  • Spend time researching new and interesting vulnerabilities - helping to provide blogs and relevant collateral

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in penetration testing, including network, web application and internal penetration testing and understanding of one or more programming languages.

Certifications such as CREST Practitioner Security Analyst (CPSA), CREST Registered Tester (CRT-PEN) or TigerScheme Qualified Security Team Member (OSTM) is not essential but highly desirable.
