Our client, an elite US-origin law firm, is seeking to add capacity to its practice via lateral associate hires. Candidates from other top funds teams from NQ level to c. 2 PQE will be considered.
The investment funds team is extremely broad, covering a range of asset classes. Associates aren't pigeon-holed into repeatedly doing one type of deal, but rather given the opportunity to build a breadth of experience.
In saying that, the practice is more GP-centric, covering mega-fundraises, market-first formations and secondary transactions, with a smaller practice of institutional investors.
The brand name and reputation are first class. This firm continues to produce great lawyers and generally people that move here have a first-class experience.
Your Profile
You must:
Be a qualified lawyer with 0-2 PQE, or fourth seat trainee due to qualify.
Have experience in investment funds.
Have an excellent academic and training background.
More experienced commonwealth-qualified lawyers with appropriate experience are also encouraged to make an inquiry.
