Our Client
Our client, a leading investment management firm, is looking for an experienced investment risk professional to take on a managerial role primarily covering equities and fixed income.
The successful candidate will sit within the Investment Risk team, covering products across all asset classes, with a particular focus on equities analysis but will also require knowledge of fixed income and multi-asset portfolios.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Ownership of daily regulatory reporting process
Complete a quarterly review process for equity portfolios.
Use portfolio review meetings as an opportunity to highlight team potential, encourage ongoing interaction with the Investment Team and input to the portfolio construction process.
Assist with ad-hoc queries
Build strong relationships with the broader Risk & Compliance team, Product Specialists, Sales and Distribution
Build knowledge of Investment Risk Team models with a focus on the equity space
Your Profile
Educated to degree level (min. BA/BSc.), preference for STEM background
Good track record in front office facing roles within asset management
Experience leading portfolio review meetings with the front office
Broad asset class knowledge required, with a key focus on equity and fixed income asset classes
Thorough understanding of risk models and in particular equity factor models
Knowledge of Factset / Blackrock Aladdin (PRISM, PRT & Green Package) or similar risk engine beneficial
Salary: circa £90,000
