Our client, a rapidly-growing cyber security firm who services wealth and asset managers in the City of London, is currently looking for an Information Security Analyst to join its team.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a confident candidate who is keen to start or accelerate their security career in a challenging, intellectually stimulating environment. This position is ideally suited for an individual who has just recently left academia having obtained a good degree, STEM subjects desirable, and who is looking to make a start in an exciting, fast-paced, technology-driven firm. Strong academic background and ambition required.
The position demands a desire to grow within the fast-moving world of Information Security, Cyber Security and Data Privacy, whereupon the successful candidate will obtain hands-on experience operating as a key member of the Information Security team servicing and addressing security subject matter in all areas of the Company's Clients operations. This is a high-growth managed security service provider, using proprietary technology, with great opportunities for advancement and client engagement.
Initially WFH, the role will be mainly based in the company's West End offices in the future, with flexibility dependent upon the business' operational requirements and at the senior management's discretion.
Key Duties
The running of daily, weekly and monthly processes, and maintaining procedural documentation
The identification and creation of new processes and controls to further enrich and mature the security state
Identification of new and preparation of existing reports and metrics from departmental systems and processes
Assisting with the running and maintenance of the departments' technology and cyber security systems
Risk assessment of projects and initiatives undertaken by the business, technology and InfoSec departments
Carrying out gap analysis and security reviews in relation to deployed technologies and security controls
Cyber threat analysis of the global technologies' estate and global business operations
Assisting with third party risk management/oversight, including due diligence exercices
Your Profile
STEM degree preferable
Experience within the financial or information security sectors a significant benefit (internship/work placement)
Good organisational skills and self-motivated
