Our Client
Our client, a leading quantitative hedge fund, is currently seeking a Global Technology Risk Officer for its London office.
The core purpose of the role will be to spearhead numerous regular tasks and ad hoc projects across a vast range of compliance and technological work such as IT governance.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating regulatory filings
Actively participating in the documentation, execution and development of the firm's Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning programs
Liaising with regulators in the different jurisdictions where the firm operates
Providing assistance in highlighting the risks which stem from specific processes in relation to the company's business activities
Spearheading the compilation of Management information packs for senior management
Implementing and improving processes and procedures in relation to being compliant with rules and regulations
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with exposure to technology compliance, technology resilience, cybersecurity frameworks. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking for a new challenge to join one of the leading hedge funds, using the latest technologies and tools. The successful candidate will be closely working with the firm's Technology, Legal and Compliance teams.
