They are now seeking a talented and motivated Funds Lawyer with 1-4 years PQE to join their team in London. In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced lawyers and contribute to providing excptional legal counsel to clients in the funds sector.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Assist in the formation and structuring of funds, including drafting and negotiating fund documents, partnership agreements, and subscription agreements.
Ensure that funds adhere to all relevant laws and regulations, staying updated on evolving legal requirements impacting the industry.
Review and negotiate investment documentation, such as term sheets, purchase agreements, and other transactional documents, while offering legal advice on fund investments.
Conduct thorough due diligence and legal research on potential investments, assessing associated risks and benefits.
Manage relationships with fund investors, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests, and providing guidance on fund operations.
Offer guidance on fund governance and handle tasks such as fund meetings, record-keeping, and the maintenance of compliance with fund policies.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of lawyers and legal professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services and innovative solutions to clients.
Your Profile
Qualified lawyer with 1-4 years of post-qualification experience in funds law.
Strong knowledge of fund structuring, formation, and documentation.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements within the funds sector.
