Our client, a fintech that specialises in the launch of innovative digital asset services, is currently seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join its Berlin offices. The role will be focusing on Blockchain/AWS for the crypto-currency platform.
The successful candidate will be part of the engineering team, which focuses on a critical part of the business: the security and compliance of digital assets’ storage. The company features a truly diverse and forward-thinking team that believes in investing in your own growth.
Main Duties
Our client has a truly flexible approach to key responsibilities, tailoring the job according to the individual's background, strengths and professional aspirations.
Some of this position's duties will include - but are not limited to:
Work alongside the firm’s other teams to secure the AWS environment, CI/CD pipelines and overall infrastructure
Design and implement security configuration and hardening for certain infrastructure components
Spearhead security design reviews for API services and infrastructure
Create automated security auditing and monitoring tools and enhancements
Your Profile
Track record in working with cloud (preference for AWS)
Proficiency in scripting languages (Golang, Ruby, Python, Bash)
Proven experience with automation frameworks
Ability to build and deploy code through CI/CD as containerised workload
Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, secrets management PKI
AWS Certification beneficial, though not essential
CISSP, OSCP, CEH, GIAC or similar certification beneficial, though not essential
Proven experience in performing threat modelling for systems and infrastructure
Experience in supporting security investigations
A desire to learn about blockchain technology, modern cryptography and security
