Our Client
Our client, a rapidly-growing technology consultancy, is currently looking for a Business Development Manager, Cloud & DevOps for its London office. The successful candidate will have a strong track record within the DevOps and Cloud space, selling over £5 million-pound year on year.
Building the DevOps and Cloud function from the group up, the successful candidate will have to identify, build and nurture strong and long-lasting relationships with a vast array of FTSE 250/100 clients. Working alongside the firm's strategic partners, the Business Development Manager will also need to identify joint business opportunities in order to drive revenue growth.
Key Duties
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develop and own the function's growth strategy
Retain existing committed revenues
Grow existing revenues
Identify opportunities and secure leads for future revenue
Analyse market trends to develop innovative strategies
Act as coach to the firm's CXOs, helping them in developing strategies which leverage digital transformation
Keeping abreast of market and competition, take part in trade events, customer forums and conferences
Meet and exceed client satisfaction targets
Your Profile
5+ years experience in sales within Cloud & DevOps
Experience in selling Consultant and/or Professional Services Engagements
A thorough understanding of Cloud and DevOps trends
Excellent selling and negotiation skills
