Our Client

​Our client, a global leading multi-strategy hedge fund, are looking to add an Assistant General Counsel to their Legal team in London. The firm are over $25bn AuM, with strategies across long/short, macro, quant and private markets.

The role will involve supporting the firm globally and providing advice on a variety of legal and regulatory matters.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements, including data contracts and software licenses.

  • Advise on general corporate legal matters, including employment/immigration, real estate and data privacy issues.

  • Assist on corporate governance and regulatory matters affecting the European offices.

  • Assist with ad-hoc matters relating to the local offices and manage external communication with external parties.

Your Profile

  • 1 - 5PQE as a qualified UK solicitor

  • Experience at a leading law firm and/or a multi-strategy hedge fund, ideally with an understanding of the funds industry.
