Our client, a well-known fintech who have seen tremendous growth over the last few years are looking for an Application Security Engineer to join their growing security function. This is an exciting time for the business as they embark on several projects across their technology stack.
The ideal Application Security Engineer will be passionate and be able to show experience across security vulnerabilities and automation. You will provide expertise on the vulnerabilities across their application, making the necessary improvements to protect their customers.
Main Duties
In the role you will implement Secure SDLC best practices as well as providing security guidance on new products and technologies. Understanding of standard security flaws and familiarity with OWASP top 10 is a must. You will also work alongside to ensure configuration Application Security tooling while being responsible for monitoring. You must be familiar with Container Security and be able to evaluate data from other Application tools such as IaC and SAST.
Your Profile
You will be working in an AWS and CGP cloud environment, it is imperative you have experience programming, with languages such as Python, C# or Golang. This experience will help when you work with the developers during code reviews.
In this hybrid role you will have the opportunity to provide real innovation, the right type of candidate will come from a similar background and be used to getting involved with other areas of security to provide support where necessary.
