Information Security Analyst Job

iThe Information Security Analyst will be responsible for analysing and evaluating the company's information security systems and procedures. They will develop and implement security policies and controls to ensure that our systems are secure and protected from cyber threats.

Information Security Analyst Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

  • An information Security Analyst will develop and implement security policies and controls to mitigate identified risks and vulnerabilities.

  • Monitor and analyse security alerts and events to identify potential security incidents.

  • Conduct investigations of security incidents and coordinate incident response activities.

  • An Information Security Analyst will work closely with other departments to ensure that security is embedded into the company's processes and systems.

  • Conduct security awareness training for staff to ensure they are aware of security risks and best practices.

  • Stay up to date with the latest security trends and technologies.

  • Assist with compliance efforts, including regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Information Security Analyst Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • Experience with network security systems and protocols

  • Knowledge of encryption techniques and other security technologies

  • Familiarity with software development principles, concepts, and methodologies

  • Knowledgeable in cyber security best practices and standards (ISO/IEC 27001:2013)

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is preferred.
