​Our Client

Our client, a renowned global banking institution, is currently seeking an Uncleared Margin Valuation Analyst to join its London office. Working within the Risk team, the successful candidate will be taking part in controlling, monitoring and reporting on BCBS margin rules.

​

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing BCBS 261’s regulatory framework

  • Actively taking part in dispute resolution and the investigation and resolution of complex calculation problems

  • Providing assistance in the enhancement of the governance framework

  • Analysing and reviewing the impact of regulatory changes which would have an impact on the initial margin calculations

Your Profile

  • Previous experience with the calculation and validation of uncleared derivative initial margin, specifically using the SIMM model

  • Associate level in market risk management

  • Demonstrated knowledge of derivative products, financial products and key market risk concepts
