​Our Client

A leading alternatives asset manager headquartered in London is looking for an experienced Operational Risk Analyst to join their team.

​

The role sits within the client’s UK & EEA operational risk team – building, educating colleagues and upgrading the risk management framework firmAS-wide.

 

Main Duties

  • Lead, challenge and review Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)

  • Support risk identification and mitigation through the management and review of operational events and KRIs

  • Produce concise Management Information, materials and summaries covering risk issues for the Group’s principal risk and governance committees.

  • Act as a key liaison between the business and Internal and External Audit

  • Perform thematic risk reviews and projects to enhance business processes and the control framework

Your Profile

  • Degree–preferably in a STEM subject, or Degree Apprenticeship

  • Minimum 2 years Operational Risk experience within Financial Services – preferably Investment Banking or Asset Management

  • Knowledge of operational risk methodologies, principles and internal/external controls

  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels across the business

  • Ability to challenge business stakeholders objectively and effectively
