Our Client
Our client is a rapidly growing private equity firm based in London, UK. They are looking for a regulatory specialist at a high level to advise them on their European distribution plans across Europe and beyond.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will advise the fund on what they can and cannot do and how to structure themselves to achieve their distribution objectives.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Leading and driving the firm's regulatory distribution project
Advising the firm and assisting them in understanding the distribution and marketing implications in various jurisdictions
Liaising with local counsel to interpret regulation and communicating effectively back to the business
Providing advice and guidance on regulatory implications as well as solutions
Developing and maintaining effective relationships with various stakeholders across the business
Establishing and maintaining constructive and open dialogue with the appropriate local authorities
Preparing appropriate reports for senior management
Your Profile
Proven distribution compliance experience from the buy-side
Experience in Alternative Investment Asset Classes and fund structures
Private fund experience desirable but not essential
Experience with oversight of distribution compliance and governance an advantage
Confidence of being part of and interacting with other members of senior management across the organisation
Advance stakeholder management experience, including experience of dealing with regulators and other external bodies
Excellent organisatino and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
