Our Client

Our client is a FTSE100 company currently going through a massive period of transformation and change, they’re currently looking to bring in an experienced Head of Security Architecture & Engineering dedicated to driving automation, innovation, and growth.

The Role

As the Head of Security Architecture & Engineering, you will be responsible for leading and managing their security architecture and engineering team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies and solutions to protect the organisation from potential security threats while supporting DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in threat modelling and DevSecOps, with a strong focus on cloud security and automation. You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of their security architecture and engineering strategy.

Main Duties

  • Develop and implement security architecture and engineering strategies to protect from potential security threats.

  • Ensure that all security solutions meet standards for quality and effectiveness and are aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external clients, vendors, and partners.

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise on security architecture and engineering topics, including threat modelling, DevSecOps, cloud security, and automation.

  • Continuously monitor and assess the security landscape and develop strategies and solutions to mitigate potential security threats.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in security architecture and engineering, with a focus on threat modelling and DevSecOps.

  • Extensive experience in cloud security and automation.

  • Experience leading and managing a team of security architects and engineers.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CSSLP, CCSP, or equivalent.
